Why Glimpse Is A Kick-Butt Series…

Crosspoint has been rocking the Glimpse series for the last few weeks and it all concludes this Sunday.

Here are a few reasons why I think this is a kick-butt series.

1)    It’s relevant

Heaven and Hell are huge talking points right now. People more than ever, it seems, are interested in the after-life and whether or not Heaven and Hell are real.

2)    It’s a bold topic

It’s Heaven and Hell! Those are big topics, and ones that are not talked about enough in church. This effects everyone and so it needs to be taught. The Bible doesn’t offer a ton, but enough to wet our appetites and know where we would want to spend eternity.

3) The right person is teaching it

This is obviously complete opinion, but how much someone engages, opens up, and accepts a message, has a lot to do with who is teaching or bringing that message. My pastor Pete, is the right person to talk on what happens after we die. He is respected, grounded, knows his stuff, and has sound theology. These type of qualities can be deal-breakers for people to receive a message on what happens next.

All in all, I’m proud of Crosspoint and proud of this series. It’s kick-butt.
